About Us

DINE for LIFE is a program designed and implemented by the Durham County Health Department in Durham, North Carolina. It is supported by SNAP-Education funds that are evenly matched with funds from Durham County. It is a unique school and community-based nutrition education and behavior change program that targets at risk families and children that are eligible for SNAP benefits. DINE currently provides nutrition education in twelve elementary schools, five middle schools, and community organizations throughout Durham County.
